Dead Right

These epitaphs are so much more than that: they are current and intimate and speak of our immediate human condition. The Greeks were the first to really address life in this way, and this translation of their succinct wisdom, humor, and clarity makes this a book to take with you and read again and again.

wonderful poems

I always find these ancient Greek short poems some of the most moving ever written. My only wish is that there had been more in this collection. Can't wait for the next volumes, which I hope there will be.
