Brings all the action, danger, hot romance, and hilarity together

*Fair warning that this review is a bit spoilerly in the romance department, but it's nothing that couldn't be relatively deduced from the description. Even so if you want to stay completely spoiler free, I would suggest skipping this review and just going out and buying the book for yourself. Trust me, it's worth it!*
Despite Dr. Petra Robichaud hoping for the contrary the cease-fire of the immortal war didn't last very long, and she finds herself once again in the middle of a prophecy trying to find a way out before it gets her killed. But that all quickly becomes the least of her worries when Galen comes back into her life and despite her determination to not soften towards him, she finds herself falling all over again. With the battle raging all around them, Petra will have to decide what is most important, her duty, or her heart.
I have to admit that when I initially read the description for this book, I almost wanted to boycott the book due to the romance. In fact I was a bit leery of the last installment for the same reason, since it involved major heart break and a new guy that I just *knew* I wouldn't like. Of course I fell in love with him right alongside Petra, which of course leads into my almost wanting to boycott this installment. I so was thoroughly converted over from team Galen to team Marc in the previous installment that I was rather leery of the switch back in teams for this go round. However, since I've enjoyed this series so much, and Angie Fox was able to make that change work once before, I decided to give this the benefit of the doubt. And boy am I glad I did. I loved this installment every bit as much as the previous ones, perhaps even more so due to the stellar ending. The romance was every bit as hot and surprisingly it didn't take me long to jump on the team changing bandwagon right alongside Petra. Now don't get me wrong, she doesn't just roll right over for him, but I think that made the read all the better (and hotter) to see the tension and build up between the two.
Even though this is the third and final book, the world behind this series still incredibly impresses me. I just love how all of the conflicting mythologies are seamlessly blended together. But even more I really enjoy the juxtaposition between the very darkness of the war and the very frequent hilarious moments. It never ceases to amaze me the quirks and funny moments that occur when just a few moments before something absolutely horrible happened, not to mention the rather hopeless situation they are all in, in the first place. They say to always look on the bright side, and these characters sure do that by making the best of things and bringing some much needed humor to the table.
I have to say that I'm very impressed with the way things ended up in this series, as I was able to close the book with a happy sigh of contentment, no small feat considering the circumstances. Even better was the fact that the last chapter was almost like an epilogue, which I am a huge fan of. I've always loved that little glimpse into life after the main conflict has been resolved, and I was so happy to see that here. Trust me, fans of this series cannot possibly be disappointed with IMMORTALLY EVER AFTER as it brings all the action, danger, hot romance, and hilarity together to make for one heck of a read. An absolute must buy!

Is it better to know the way your love with go or be surprised by the outcome?

Petra and Marc have a front row seat to the ravages of war in a paranormal world where the weapons of destruction are the nightmares of Gods not men. They are healing the wounded and moving toward the verge of something akin to a relationship even surrounded by such destruction.
Petra has loved once before and knows the pain it can bring but Marc pushing the commitment up a notch and Petra is wavering. However, whatever steps they were going to take come to a screeching halt when the man Petra never thought to see again, reappears. Galen stole everything sacred from Petra when he chose the life of a soldier over her. He left to fight in the war that should have taken his life many times over since losing his immortality. However here he stands still longing to touch her and knowing that no woman can bring him the joy she provides. Petra may dream of how great they are together but she is still unable to trust him with her heart or the secret she carries with her. She is the salvation or damnation of entire world where she considers those who share this crazy existence her friends.
The winds of change are blowing down very hard upon Petra and the time to choose whether she stays or goes will be made. Is one life given up the ultimate gift or the depth of stupidity?
Angie Fox rocks the paranormal world with a great story, amazing characters, and a fire breathing romance.

I absolutely adored the first two books in the MASH trilogy, and the 3rd, Immortally Ever After, was no exception. All three books are fast paced, packed with hilarity, and include the much loved bonus of bouts of steamy sex scenes. I've also noticed that Angie has the knack for endearing me to her secondary characters-along with the hero and heroine of course; I absolutely love this, because it just makes me enjoy the book even more. Rodger, Medusa and Jeffe absolutely slay me. Also it secretly makes me hope for spin-offs for those much loved secondaries. Hey, you never know. Absolutely positively 5 star read!

Petra and the Gang at 3063rd MASH are taking full advantage of the ceasefire. Their much deserved break is spent helping sick people rather than the dying, gambling and of course thinking up more pranks to pull on their team mates. Of course with the volatile Gods the cease fire doesn't last long. Nope, the Gods have brought all new nightmarish weapons into play, and the prophecies have started rolling in. On top of all that poor Petra has to deal with her oh-so-sexy completely unforgettable ex-lover showing up, which kind of wouldn't be so bad except for two things- he's got a strange female in tow, aaaand Mark.
