WARNING FOR USED BOOKS

This book has an access code for online resources. If you purchase the book used, and the access code has already been used, it does not work to access the online portion of the book. It is worth it to buy this book new instead of used for online content.

DVD does not work on current Mac OS X

The book may be fine, but the DVD ROM that comes with it does not work on modern Mac OS X machines. It uses the old PowerPC software and Apple no longer support that. So the only way to use the DVD is to run it on Windows

Basically the same as the 6th edition

I have the 6th edition of this book, that I bought for my daughter when she was in Nursing school, my son will be starting Nursing school, so we were wanting to save money by using her book's, I clicked on the look inside, and compared it to the one we have, I did not see any reason, I should buy this newer edition, it looks like they just moved the chapters and page numbers around and just add enough extra's so they could justify calling it a newer edition, so they could sell more books, when is someone going to step in and put a stop to this practice, why should these students have to buy a newer edition, when it has basically the same thing as the older version, there is no other reason, but for these publishers to make more money, its not fair to these students or their parents.
